WHAT:A baby was recovering Monday morning after someone shot and wounded him and killed his father as they played across from the baseball field at North Miami's Claude Pepper Park

HOW:The 1 ½-year-old was shot at least once, possibly in the arm, said North Miami Lt. Neal Cuevas. He was in stable condition early Monday.
The boy was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Television footage showed the boy, wide-eyed, clinging to his mother in a wheeled stretcher as paramedics rushed him into the trauma center.
